Hi Gary,

I received my 3G Stepper and assembled it the other day.

I have to tell you that this machine is ideal for improving my physical condition.

3 years ago I was involved in a head on collision, (not my fault…the other guy came out of the ditch 45’ in front of me). I was travelling at 65 miles/ hour, he was at approximately 50 M/H. I wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. When we collided my right knee knocked a hole in the dash, my right foot was crushed against the gas pedal and my right femur snapped, coming through the skin, ripping some muscle out in the process. The instant before the collision I figured “that’s all she wrote” and remember feeling a profound disappointment that my life was done since I had much more to do and my job wasn’t complete yet. Well, three years later I’m walking normally but still in huge need to get some oxygen, a full lung of air…(normal people don’t appreciate how lucky they are to be able to do aerobic workout). My problem is that I can’t really do anything too strenuous with my right foot and riding a bike is out of the question so I haven’t been able to get my lungs working the way I have always been used to.

The stepping motion on the 3G, (almost backward elliptical) movement is gentle enough on my right foot but provides a strong thigh and hip workout. And yes, I do have an Elliptical machine in my house but absolutely no psychological motivation to use it. My first ride on the Stepper helped me pump some oxygen into my lungs. It has been 3 years since I have been able to increase my lung activity.. It is an unbelievable feeling to get some of that back. And to be able to feel the wind in my face and actually be moving along while exercising is fantastic for me! Even though the first, second and third ride was short I know I’ll be increasing distance and time with the Stepper as time goes on.

I gotta thank you man! This creation of yours is what I have been looking for. When I saw the picture of it in popular mechanics July issue, I knew this would help. And…I also gotta tell you it looks very good too. You’ve done a great job with this Gary. If there is anything I can do to help you promote this let me know.

Yes!

The Stepper is a really fun, very effective workout. I think it is very unique--easy to operate, changes gears, stand on, very stable, and especially fun racing downhill on the Streets of San Francisco! I found I could get a full body pump by using both the deck(s) and the bars--legs, glutes, back, chest, shoulders, cardio. I also think it's great for all ages--kids to seniors.

I do feel that it would be great to have greater range with the ramps, wider range of gears (granny gear), and the ability to stand and step on any part of the deck. I was really hiking it back on the deck.
It's a great concept that I think has "legs"!!!

Best of luck with it, Gary!
